Inheriting her great grandmother‘s talent, Solvi seems to have an innate feel for foraged floral arrangements. No matter the season, she brings me a bouquet at least once a week. (More in the summer. Fewer in the winter.) Thus she’s quite experimental with her choices, often including sticks, dried leaves, and other unexpected elements. Today’s surprise included weeds, ivy, and scilla. But since I already had several arrangements on my desk, this one we put on a shelf in Solvi’s own room.
