I recently wrote about the winning combination of pink and gray. But this breathtaking photo by Janne Peters reminded me of another stunning pair: orange and gray. While pink and gray is a bit more demure, orange and gray tends toward the sensual and robust. And yet, unlike their more overt cousins: red and black, orange and gray are still subtle and soft. As you can see in the striations above, each warm sunset hue complements both cool blue or green/gray tones. From fleshy peach to rich terra cotta, every shade sends a different message. But all are equally striking.
