pink and green, redux

Though it was beloved by my Gram, pink and green has never been my favorite combination. Perhaps that’s because I all-too-quickly associate it with that preppy duo which (in my humble opinion) involves the very worst of each hue. But get away from Kelly green and bubble gum (shudder), and pink and green can actually be quite fresh and striking. (These are the colors of many flowers, after all.) The secret, I think, is to use warmer green tones with a lot of yellow in them. Of course, for the most updated look, a little gray never hurts either.
