waning days of summer

With school starting tomorrow, today was our last gasp of summer on Cape Cod. I admit that the idea of returning to a routine and starting to actually RENOVATE our new house is attractive. But before I move on to polar fleeces and falling leaves, I’d like to take just a moment to remember yet another magical summer.

Joining in with a local ladies art group one day, the children made a painting of our cottage.

Gorgeous photos. The kids will be so lucky to look back on these when they’re grown. Our summer officially ended last Wednesday, missing it already …

Lovely images. Boy, I miss those carefree days already. Where did you get the sweet sandwich wraps?
